Free-standing gray tiled stove

Hand-pressed natural clay tiles, unordered patterns, created using plaster moulds, covered with white slip and glazed gray in a shade of blue. The expression is rough and rustic, with mists and wet stones by the sea as inspiration.

The wood burning stove contains five internal flues, and has two dampers to regulate the draft and heat. Specially designed tiled stove for a main building in the Stockholm archipelago. Installed in collaboration with Gatis Serens who works for Mattiassons Kakelugnsmakeri AB.
